A little tip: If you choose the unvarnished brass for outdoor use or in a cabin, you can always polish it back to a high shine with a polishing agent if you change your mind about the patina look.

Practical Information

As this is Italian craftsmanship, please note the following:

  • Delivery: Most models are in stock and will arrive at your door within a few days.
  • Special orders: If your specific combination needs to be handmade, it may take up to 30 days. However, it is worth the wait when you know the product has been crafted with an eye for detail.

Tip: If the lamps are to be hung outdoors or in a salty atmosphere (near the sea), solid brass is by far the best material, as it does not rust but simply becomes more beautiful with age.

Materials and Finishes

  • Polished unvarnished brass: This is the classic choice. As the brass is unvarnished, it will naturally develop a patina over time and acquire that perfect ‘aged’ maritime look. However, if you prefer a shiny finish, it can always be polished up again.
  • Chrome-plated brass: Perfect for a modern maritime setting or the bathroom. You get the durability and weight of brass, but with a shiny, silver-coloured finish that is easy to maintain.

Choice of Glass

  • Clear glass: Provides direct and powerful light. It is ideal if you use decorative bulbs (e.g. with visible filaments) and want a raw look.
  • Frosted glass: Diffuses the light more evenly and softly. It is perfect for cosy lighting, or in places where you want to avoid being dazzled by the bulb.
