CAMPANULA-P family - IP44

The CAMPANULA series is a masterclass in nostalgic design, capturing the elegant, bell-shaped silhouette reminiscent of 1920s millinery. It blends "Old World" aesthetics with modern durability, making it a favorite for traditional architecture and coastal properties.

Material & Finish Options

AC (Antique Brass): A warm, classic tone that provides an aged look from day one.

BA (Burnished Brass): A smoother, slightly more polished take on brass that maintains a sophisticated glow.

AR (Antique Oxidised Brass): The heavy-hitter for durability. This finish is specifically treated to withstand all climatic conditions, including harsh salt air or heavy rain.

Why Polycarbonate?

Unlike traditional glass, the clear polycarbonate used in the CAMPANULA series offers high impact resistance. This makes the lamps ideal for outdoor walkways or entryways where durability is just as important as the light quality.

Lighting Recommendation

To maintain the 1920s aesthetic, I recommend using a clear LED filament bulb. This mimics the look of an original tungsten bulb—providing a warm, welcoming amber glow—while keeping energy consumption significantly lower than the 60W limit.

Are you planning to install these as wall-mounted sconces for an entrance, or are you looking at the pedestal versions for a garden path?

1. Choose Your Lamp (Form Factor)

The Campanula series is divided into two main categories: Wall & Ceiling (compact) and Bollards & Poles (landscape).

1792P / 1793PMulti-Light PoleFocal points for large gardens or courtyards.

2. Choose Your Brass Finish

Since these are high-quality brass, they are "living" finishes that respond to their environment.

  • AC (Antique Brass): The most popular choice for a "pre-aged" look. It has a slightly lighter, warm tone that fits perfectly with red brick or light stone.

  • BA (Burnished Brass): A deeper, richer brown-gold. It offers a more understated, "hidden" elegance.

  • AR (Antique Oxidised Brass): The ultimate choice for coastal or extreme weather areas. It is specifically treated to resist salt-air corrosion and will develop the most dramatic, natural patina over time.

3. Choose Your Glass

While the frame is classic, the "glass" is designed for modern durability.

  • Clear Polycarbonate (Standard): This is the high-impact choice. It looks exactly like glass but won't shatter if hit by a pebble or during high winds. It allows the filament of your bulb to be the star of the show.

  • Replacement / Spare (V64P): Should you ever need a replacement, the family uses a standardized polycarbonate insert, ensuring your investment lasts for decades.

My Recommendation

If you are lighting a seaside cottage, I would strongly suggest the AR (Antique Oxidised) finish. It’s the "tank" of the lineup—it doesn't just survive the salt air; it thrives in it, looking better every year.

Which part of your home are you looking to illuminate first—the main entrance or the garden path?
